Choosing an extended coverage will increase the maximum possible compensation amount from € 3 000 to € 30 000. This insurance policy covers €30 000 and can be used for applying a tourist Ukrainian visa.

The insurance policy that was purchased through the portal can be postponed for the required period for the tourist. The date change procedure can be performed several times.
Position of country according to "Red zone" and "Green zone" shall be taken to account during customs clearance in Ukraine, not during departure of foreign national from his/her country;
In case of transit flight through the "Red Zone" country, the zone where country of departure is situated shall be taken into account;
The citizens from countries with a high level of COVID-19 cases who have not been on the territory of these states over the past 14 days* are not required to undergo observation.
Citizen of Ukraine or person with permanent residence permit in Ukraine can be without insurance policy.
*The insurance policy should be issued by a company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company partner in Ukraine.
The policy must cover the costs associated with the treatment of COVID-19, observation and the entire duration of stay in Ukraine.
From January 8, 2021 to January 24, 2021, temporary quarantine restrictions are in effect in Ukraine, however, the borders of Ukraine remain open, hotels are open, public transport continues to function. During this period, the following places will not be available for visiting: shopping and entertainment center, restaurants / cafes / bars (only delivery and takeaway food), fitness rooms, public events. Visits to beauty salons by appointment only.
The "red zone" consist of countries where COVID-19 cases numbers in the last 14 days are higher of cases numbers in Ukraine.
The list of such countries will be reviewed by the Ministry of Health every 7 days.
The fact that a citizen has a certificate of COVID-19 ANTIBODIES does not relieve him of the need to undergo COVID-19 testing using the PCR method after crossing the state border or undergoing an observation if the citizen has arrived from a country entering the “red zone”.
Persons who cross the state border of Ukraine should install app "Vdoma" and can choose one of three options:
1. Observation in specialized isolators;
2. 14 days self-isolation at the place of residence for persons who have agreed to undergo it using the "Vdoma" mobile app;
3. Pass the COVID-19 test using the PCR method after crossing the state border.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 22, 2020 No. 641 (taking into account the changes dated September 28, 2020), self-isolation is not subject (if there is no reason to believe that the following persons were in contact with a person with COVID-19) :
1. persons under 12 years old
2. persons arriving in Ukraine for the purpose of studying at higher education institutions; p>
3. persons who are citizens (subjects) of states with a wide spread of COVID-19 and have not been on the territory of such states within the last 14 days or are sent through the territory of Ukraine in transit and have documents confirming travel abroad within two days;
4. employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign states, representations of official international missions, organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families;
5. drivers and crew members of freight vehicles, buses carrying out regular transportation, crew members of air and sea, river vessels, members of train and locomotive crews;
6. instructors of the armed forces of NATO member states and member states of the NATO Partnership for Peace program who participate in training activities for the units of the Armed Forces;
7. cultural workers at the invitation of a cultural institution, together with one person, accompanies each of them;
8.persons transporting hematopoietic stem cells for transplantation
9.persons who test negative for COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction method, which is carried out no more than 48 hours before crossing the border
If citizen of "Red Zone" or Ukrainian, who returned from "Red Zone" does not want to undergo Self-Isolation during 14 days and wants to perform PCR test to cancel the Self-Insulation he/she must comply with following rules:
1.In all cases to download "Vdoma" mobile app and specify his/her phone number as well as place for undergoing Self-Isolation;
2.After crossing border, the person has 24 hours to get to place of Self-Isolation. During this time mobile app will automatically remind person to note whether he/she has arrived at destination place or not;
3.During these 24 hours it is possible to perform PCR test in laboratory/clinic that are in the list of the Public Health Centre (List of certified laboratories of Ukraine). The laboratories which are not in the list don’t have access to the system; therefore they can’t provide the results of test to withdraw self-isolation.
4.During the test, the person must provide laboratory with his/her phone number linked to "Vdoma" mobile app and fill in the informed agreement for data processing. The fact of crossing the Ukrainian border should be indicated in the agreement if it took place during the last 14 days; the exact date of arrival in Ukraine should be indicated.
5.After performing test, the person shall go to his/her place of Self-Isolation and note in app that he/she has arrived at destination place;
6.The result of test should be ready 24-48 hours after performing;
7.The laboratory staff only by person request must forward the negative test result to Public Health Centre by indicating the tourist’s phone number linked to "Vdoma" mobile app;
8.In turn, the Public Health Centre collects the data in the unified electronic database and submits to "Vdoma" mobile app the information on termination of Self-Isolation;
9.In this way tourist see in his/her "Vdoma" mobile app if Self-Isolation is cancelled automatically and he/she can leave the premises and travel;
10.Test that was passed in the laboratory which is not in the list of Public Health Centre is not taken into account.
11."Vdoma" mobile app shall not be deleted during the whole stay in Ukraine;
12.Person can’t enter negative test result by himself/herself to "Vdoma" mobile app;
13.Person can’t leave the place of Self-Isolation until he/she receives a message in "Vdoma" mobile app about terminating Self-Isolation for him/her.
All foreign nationals must have Health Insurance Certificate. Such Health Insurance Certificate shall be issued by company registered in Ukraine, or foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine and/or is in the treaty relations with insurance company the partner in Ukraine.
Health Insurance Certificate must cover costs related to COVID-19 treatment, observation and must be valid during the whole stay of visitor in Ukraine.
The insurance policy that was purchased through the portal can be postponed for the required period for the tourist. The date change procedure can be performed several times.
The citizen from the red zone should install mobile app "Vdoma" and be on self-isolation for 14 days, or on self-isolation before receiving the test results.
When passenger passing the passport control he should inform employee of the State Border Guard Service about his phone number* and the address of the place of self-isolation, and then show the appropriate window of the application.
It is forbidden to leave the place of observation by your own.
* The application can be authorized on the phone number of any mobile operator in the world.
1.If a person needs to change the location or phone number in the app “Vdoma” for any reason?
Person should contact support of "Vdoma".
2. How long does it take to get to the self-isolation place?
After crossing border the person has 24 hours to get self-Isolation place;
3. Can person leave the self-isolation place?
While Self-Isolation period lasts the person has 2 hours per day during the daytime for personal needs. Therein he/she may leave the place of Self-Isolation to visit shops where groceries, personal care products, medicines, medical devices are sold. These shops must be located no more than 2 km from the place of Self-Isolation;
4. How does the lab pass the tests to the Public Health Centre?
Laboratory according to Rules shall forward data on NEGATIVE test result to Public Health Centre only "upon request of person". That is, if person does not request it, the data will not be forwarded and no notification on termination of Self-Isolation will be sent to mobile app.
5. Why should install the app "Vdoma" on your personal phone number?
Upon crossing border the information about person together with his / her phone number is entered into database of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and Gart system. These phone numbers are entered into database, from this moment person has 24 hours to get to place of Self-Isolation. The application can be authorized on the phone number of any mobile operator in the world.
6. How to find out how much time has passed and how much is left to arrive at the self-isolation place?
When person enters his / her phone number into mobile app for activation the interface shows how much time left before activating Self-Isolation period.
7. Is it possible to be in Ukraine like transit?
Transit stay in Ukraine without self-isolation and passing the test is possible up to 48 hours.
8. If person goes to Ukraine in transit through the red zone?
This transit is possible up to 24 hours without quarantine upon arrival and passing the test.
9. Is it necessary to buy an insurance policy for children?
Yes, the policy is necessary for all tourists who came from the red zone.
10. Is it necessary to install the application "Vdoma" for children?
Children under 14 years traveling with their parents have the right not to install the app.
11. If person have a residence permit in Ukraine, is it possible not to purchase an insurance policy?
If a person with a residence permit came from any zone - he may not purchase an insurance policy.
Functions of "Vdoma" mobile app are as follows:
Download "Vdoma" mobile app by scanning QR code sign-in poster in passport control areas, or find "Vdoma" mobile app by searching the App Store or Play Market.
How to log into mobile app?
If citizen of "Red Zone" or Ukrainian, who returned from "Red Zone" does not want to undergo Self-Isolation during 14 days and wants to perform PCR test to cancel the Self-Insulation he/she must comply with following rules:

During self-isolation you have 2 hours in the daytime for personal needs. During this time, you can leave the place of self-isolation to visit places selling food, hygiene products, medicines, medical products that are located at a distance of no more than 2 kilometers from the place of self-isolation;
How does the laboratory transfer tests to the Public Health Center?
According to the rules, the laboratory sends data on a negative test result to the Public Health Center only “at the request of the person.” That is, if you does not demand it, the data is not sent, and the program does not receive a message about the end of self-isolation.
Why install the application Vdoma using exactly a personal phone number?
Upon crossing the border, information about a person, along with their phone number, is entered into the State Border Service of Ukraine and into the GART system. These numbers are entered into the base and from that moment 24 hours are counted to arrive at the place of self-isolation. The application can be authorized to the number of any mobile operator in the world.
How to find out how much time has passed and how much is left to arrive at the place of self-isolation?
When you enters your phone number into the application to activate, the interface displays how much time you have left until the self-isolation regime is turned on.
Is it possible to stay in Ukraine in transit?
A transit stay in Ukraine without self-isolation and taking a test is possible up to 48 hours, if you follow the country "green" zone.
If a person goes to Ukraine in transit through the red zone?
This transit is possible up to 24 hours without observing quarantine upon arrival and passing the test.
Is it obligatory to buy an insurance policy for children?
Yes, a policy is required for all tourists arriving from the red zone.

I can’t pay, what should I do?

Who can buy insurance?
Insurance is provided for foreigners (non-residents of Ukraine) and citizens of Ukraine, including adults and children, without age restrictions.
